SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST
Job Description:
As a key team member, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the delivery of both internal and external projects. The Senior Business Analyst will be required to understand customer processes, design solutions and translate business requirements into deliverables. The Senior Business Analyst will work with internal teams to architect solutions, schedule deliverables, regression test and deliver solutions to the customer. As well, the Senior Business Analyst will monitor, review and recommend enhancements to the customers to leverage and maximize their investment. Additionally, internal initiatives will require the Senior Business Analyst to review and test new and existing product lines and recommend product enhancements on an as-needed basis.
Applicants must possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or equivalent work experience
- Candidate must have a minimum 3 years' in a Business Analyst/Project Management-related work experience functioning in a senior role
- At least 3 years experience working in all phases of system development life cycle including feasibility, requirements definition and analysis, functional design, testing, implementation and training
- Experience defining and analyzing requirements, creating functional designs, creating system test processes and documents, staging system test data and conducting system testing
- Experience planning, monitoring and executing functional activities in a multi-customer and multi-stakeholder environment
- Proficient Communication skills to articulate issues, solutions and approaches to a group of internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical skills in order to work in a dynamic and agile environment with changing requirements and priorities.
- Ability to work independently, bring clarity to ambiguous tasks, conduct self-directed research, mentor and develop others
- Ability to quickly establish solid rapport with customers and be able to provide a high level of support with attention to problem description, detail and impact
- Highly motivated self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
- Excellent English communications skills (both verbal and written) /outgoing individual
- Flexibility to work both collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently
- Flexibility to work overtime as required
- Credit risk experience considered an asset
