What is an eSIM card?
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital version of a physical SIM card built directly into your device. Instead of inserting or replacing SIM cards when you travel, you can download an eSIM profile online and get connected instantly. You can activate a local or global data plan in minutes with no shipping, no waiting, and no store visit. It’s a smarter, more sustainable way to stay connected while you travel.

Roamex is your travel eSIM solution for staying connected worldwide.
We know plans can change. You can request a refund if your device isn’t compatible or if you canceled your trip and no longer need the eSIM. Refunds are only available if the eSIM has not been activated and has been inactive for less than 180 days from purchase. Used or expired eSIMs cannot be refunded. Once approved, refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
When your eSIM is delivered, it comes with its own dedicated status page. You can use this page to top up your data and monitor your usage whenever you need.
Yes, you can use them together. Most modern devices support dual SIM, which means you can keep your physical SIM active while using your Roamex eSIM for data. Your physical SIM can handle calls and texts, while the Roamex eSIM provides mobile data during your trip.
If you can’t find your eSIM QR code, first check your inbox, spam folder, and promotions folder. The code is sent instantly to the email used to place the order. If you still can’t find it, send us a WhatsApp message and we’ll check your order and resend it for you.
Yes, you can reuse your Roamex eSIM if it hasn’t expired and you’re traveling to the same destination or region. Check your status page to see if it’s still active. If it is, just top up your data and validity will be extended. For a new destination or region, you’ll need a new eSIM.
Yes, data roaming must be enabled for your Roamex eSIM to work. You will not be charged extra, as all data goes through your Roamex plan. Make sure the Roamex eSIM is selected for mobile data. If needed, remove your primary SIM to avoid using it by mistake. Roamex is not responsible for roaming charges if your personal SIM is still set as the active data line.
You can check your data usage on the personal status page that was sent to your email when your eSIM was delivered. It shows your remaining data and validity in real time.
The number of activations doesn’t matter, but an eSIM can only be used on the same device it was first activated on. If you delete it by accident, you can add it again, but only on that original device.
We don't apply speed limits to our plans. You’ll have access to the fastest available 4G and 5G networks, with speeds depending on the local infrastructure in the country you’re using the service in. Hotspot usage is fully supported and not limited. You can share your connection freely, using data from your own plan. Unlimited plans are subject to a Fair Usage Policy, which is clearly described on the product page above the “Add to cart” button.
